Lifestooshort I agree with you, unfortunately these children never asked to come here so they shouldn't be the direct blame for their actions but should be punished none-the-less for their bad choices. What I do think should happen, and this is just my opinion, is that once it is obvious that some of these women who aren't taking care of the children they have should not be allowed to keep having them. Only question is how can it effectively be done?

And of course I'm tired of what's happening in this city and if you learn to read things right before being quick to offer comment you would see that I was asking a question based on past comments and by the way it may have proved my point cause the one's this was asked to didn't further comment. I'm not blaming anyone but I'm not judging anyone either, right or wrong, and I don't like when the "race card" is used but since some on here thought enough to make it about that I'm just curious about their opinion if this was a case concerning whites.
And as for names and racial background, you whould be surprised how many children I've encountered in the school system with names that suggested they were one race but they were of a race you would have never thought to have placed them in. Just goes to show that you can't assume things about people.
Oh and correct me if I'm wrong but how do we know what race the two suspects are, last I heard no description was given, or are we assuming because of their names. Watch your assumptions people they can sometimes get you in alot of trouble.
Ok I think I've read enough of the negativity from both ends. Stan sorry if you disagree but the bottom line is you may not be racist but some of your comments could argue otherwise, and why do you tend to focus more on making comment to the negative news instead of commenting on other things like for instance the souls lost in that fire in warren, or the way our Gov. is trying to take our schools down to and make them charter schools, and to any one with a negative comment stop offering opinions and thoughts of which you happen to know nothing about and help be a part of solving the problem. For those who "think" they know the answers to this child's life and many others, my mother always said stop "basing your opinions on what you thought and ask" cause you don't get paid to think. Besides what would you say about this childs "culture" and upbringing if I told you he was white? Guess what people that's what he was.
More and more each day I see our elustrious Mayor somehow entangled in mess. Yes the southside is in need of serious help but while his side of town get's the attention the rest of our city is sufferring and while his church is getting away with paying back our city people like myself get hit hard for the little bit we make. Mayor, if you want our city to thrive again and want people to be held accoutable for their city, then look in your own back yard and make your church own up to their mess, give the money back or give up the properties.
In regards to your comment about the mom locking her baby in the car if you learn how to read you would hae seen that she said it was an accident and admitted fault. It happens and sometimes people don't think things like this would happen to them, so the next time u go shooting off at the mouth let's hope u never need police assistance and if so think about how important it may be to you if they don't show up.

Influential church battles back taxes
