Valley drilling on the move

@redvert....couldn't have said it better myself.

That's all this Valley seems to do anymore is whine and complain about anything and everything. No wonder people move far away from here and never want to come back. It's also no wonder why companies never want to do business here either. From the unions over stepping their powers to the greed of our politicians. And yet, you people cannot seem to let the past go. Get over it. The high paying jobs of delphi and GM are long gone. Delphi will never be back. And surely they may have the notion to leave with what barely remains in Warren since the union cannot agree on terms of a new contract. The $30/hr and $40/hr jobs are gone, lets move on.

This could be the best thing to ever happen here since the steel mills closed, and yet you people complain. Like redvert says, you just cant stand to see others benefit from this. Whether you like it or not, this industry will be here soon.

If you want to complain, find something else to complain about and call up your local politicians like Tim Ryan and Sherrod Brown and ask them how they are making Ohio, and NE Ohio more business friendly to help create jobs.

UPDATE: Traficant will not file in the 6th

Honestly, can anyone tell me what Tim Ryan has done for the Mahoning Valley besides baby the Delphi retirees? Has he done anything remarkable? Has he brought any new industries and jobs that he promised? NO. Yes, Jim Traficant may be a convicted felon, but at least he is not afraid to speak up and get Youngstown on the map. Wasn't it Jim that brought a federal court house to Youngstown? The Covelli Centre? If anyone can do something, Traficant can. It is time to give Tim Ryan the boot.

Woman killed outside South Side church

This is absolutely ridiculous! The leaders of Youngstown-Warren have failed us once again. How many more people must die before this ends? No wonder any new industry avoids the Valley. Who wants to setup shop in high crime areas? Message to our "leaders:" stop taking trips to Paris, France to talk to V&M Star leaders. Stop going to DC to get money to tear down houses. If Tim Ryan would have actually done his job, we would have had the money! The "leaders" of this Valley need to wake up and focus on making a better community!
