i understand this mom has a job, goes to school ok yeah for her. I do the same I live here in compass west i have male friends who will watch my children and do i do it hell no as a mother of girls i do what i got to do to make sure they go to day care in a control environment and yes the government helps u wit that. Come on this child had markings 5-20 days old her motherly instincts should of kicked in there is no excuses for this to happen to a child and really people not all people who lives in compass west is druggies or crackheads, I am not i work, volunteer, and go to school so stop stero-typing everyone that lives here, I'm here until I graduate school. I keep to myself and very protective of my children.

Yes i do get assistance for the government but i attend school to better myself to get out of the ghetto i call it. So people don't downgraded anyone. As for this issue of this child here i believe the mother is in the wrong when u have children as a mother especially with little girls ur always check ur suppose to be man background and if he got a record as long as dude did then he shouldn't be within 5 steps of ur family. No female should leave their children home with any male that has some issues their dealing with that involves crimes. As singlemoms or whatever u know something ain't right in ur home u need to address it I'm sure this went on for a while all the signs where somewhat there. I've been abused but i be damn if i left anybody abuse my children. I not saying she was asking for it or it's all her fault but as a mom her instincts should of kicked in along time ago a real woman, a real mother would not let anything happen to their children. If this happened to one of my children trust me I be in jail while he be about 6ft under. There is no excuse for this child to suffer the way she did. I will have her in my prayers but not the mother I feel she let her little girl suffer something that could of been avoided. U can choose Who u love and when choosing u need to chose to do background checks that's all to. As for Compass West.People need to beware who their neighbors are and where their children are. I never let my children out of my sight and i'm picky who they hang with. I keep to myself I be respect and say hi to the neighbors but don't want to know their life story. Compass West isn't that bad it's some of the people that make it bad for others.
