Vandalism strikes gravesite of mall mogul William Cafaro

I sure hope they find them. Do we have to put securlty cameras in cemetaries now? My heart goes out to the Cafaro family....I would be devastated if my parents graves were defiled. It's just so wrong.

Texas co. wants to lease mineral rights at Poland cemetery

So what's next? Outlawing underground burial because the cash strapped vilages, towns and cities need the money? I am all for businesses and jobs for the valley, but at what price. I am sure if we look back in history, that everytime there was profit to be gained from oil, gas, or other minerals, small towns were wiped out for a price. Sure, they got to move somewhere else, but the towns disappeared. There needs to be mandatory geological studies, paid for by the companies. But, it still disturbs me that hallowed ground is being desecrated to the highest bidder.

Suspects in Realtor's killing have no record

As my father used to say, "Take them out back and shoot them like mad dogs". They will get the death sentence, probably. But then the taxpayers will pay to keep them alive, appeal after appeal for years. Maybe if the courts rewind to some of the practices of the old days and not let animals such as these two sit in a jail cell for years, maybe more crime would be deterred. Put them on trial, convict them and take them out back and shoot them like mad dogs. Watch the crime rate drop like a hot potato.

Class-action lawsuit targets St. Elizabeth, Forum Health

With or without insurance, why does anyone think they do not have to pay their bills when it comes to health care. This is nothing but lawyers and freeloaders wanting money. Do you go to a restaurant, a grocery store, a mechanic without any intention of paying? I have worked for both of these fine instituions and I know for a fact the financial counselors would help you anyway they could to set up a payment plan. I am so tired of people thinking that they do not have to pay their bills when it comes to health care. Hospitals do not operate without money. They have payroll, maintenance bills, utilities, equipment, etc. to pay for and you don't think you have to pay for some of the finest healthcare in the Valley. PAY YOUR BILLS!!!!

Two killed in Market Street crash

As a former medic, who has been on plenty of crashes at that location at that early in the morning, high speed has always been a factor and most of the time alcohol has also has been a factor.
Eliminate both of those factors and there is no problem.

Potential bidder at odds with unions, US

I don't know about having all the answers but I am a non union employee and we are not given any opportunities for negotiations with Ardent or with anyone else. When union employees continued to get raises, and not pay any copays, the nonunion emplyees were put on wage freezes, had their copays and premiums raised etc, etc. but we survived. All I know now is that the majority of union and nonunion employees are ready to move forward. A new dawn, a new day, a new employer that will take us into the future for a very long time.
