@ Forejjg and johnyoung: I went to college for journalism, and you are taught to always attribute every statement to the person who said it. This is to avoid confusion and also to show that it was the speaker's, and not the author's, opinion. While I agree that may sound silly while reading it, this is the proper way to write.
