When will we know if the prosecutor's office will file charges against the son who put the duct tape on? I wish officers had arrested him at the scene when he admitted to doing this. The entire disgusting group that lives in that excuse for a house should all be prosecuted for starving the animals. One line in the article above in particular really bothers me. It says "If the owners are forced to give up the dog once charges are pressed, they will be eligible to be adopted". Does this mean that there is a chance these dogs may go back to this house? If that happens, then our judicial system is seriously flawed.

Thank you for the follow-up on these animals. I hope this isn't another tragic story that just gets pushed to the side until it happens again. I want people to remember what happened to these precious dogs. I am so thankful they are sleeping where it is warm, getting regular meals and love. This is their second chance at life and I know they will make wonderful pets once rehabilitated. I pray the monsters that did this to them are prosecuted and can NEVER own any kind of animal again.
