And when Johnson and the Republicans agree to start doing something for this country instead of against it, maybe then we can actually get something done. I do like it when we have a bipartisan congress but at this point I think the only way this country will ever move forward is if we can remove the republicans in 2014 !! It is appalling how they behave like children and block everything they can. Lets face it, the real problem for them is that Obama is a black man, and he was elected twice and they just can't deal with that.
Everything here is so well said but the answers are impossible. No president will tackle welfare because they spend too much time worrying about being reelected and don't want to lose votes. We need a strong president willing to do whats right by all of us, willing to take the risk, one who really cares about the future of this country not just tomorrow. Unfortunately we will never see this.
hard to feel sorry for these individuals. They put themselves in these positions. I am a lifelong Democrat but even I can see we need to do something serious about the welfare dependency system. Its completely out of hand and needs to be turned around. Unfortunately neither party wants to do anything about it. The left is afraid of losing votes, and the right goes after the wrong issues spinning their religion into everything. This leaves no one for us to vote for that can get the job done. In the meantime the criminals are running free and we are living behind locked doors and bars on our windows.
Go Demsocrats!!, we have to stand together for Womens rights, Veterans rights, teachers rights, workers rights, middle class rights, gay/lesbian rights, immigrants rights, religious rights, those on medicare rights...did I miss anyone. Actually when you think of it unless you are the top 1% why would you ever vote Republican and have your rights taken away!!
I am proud to live in a country where we have the freedom to choose our president but I am ashamed at the ignorance people are using to make this choice. Voting is an important right that needs to not be taken lightly and one should not vote for just themselves but for the good of the country as a whole. Taking into account womens rights, elderly rights, minority rights, gay rights, and all of the 47% that Romney wants to forget about I see no choice but Obama. Republicans vote for whats in it for themselves, Democrats vote for what they can do for others. If I err I always want to err on the side that chose to care.
no Giant Eagle employee just one who knows that what Youngstown doesn't need is more low class operations. We need to attract better quality than a food lion. These kind of stores rip off the customers who can least afford to be taken.
Anyone who knows the Food Lion chain will not be looking forward to their move into our area. They are a low class company that will no be of no benefit to Youngstown. I remember well what they were like in Florida and would never shop at one. What we need are quality stores that will entice people to shop here and provide good quality for fair prices. The name bottom feeders should tell the whole story...
Even if you are not prejudice against race it is an unfortunate fact that most crime is black on black. I just dont understand why they continue to live this way.
