I worked with inmates for a few years, they don't have any choices once they get out of prison, this will help. Alot of them don't want to go back to a life of crime, but what alternatives do they have when they need housing, need to feed their children, want to be productive, but no one will hire them? hmm? I know of some who have never committed another crime, and are doing very well. Give them the benefit of the doubt.
georgejeannie: maybe you'd change your tune if your house gets shaken off its foundation and crumbles around you. would you like to pay the deductible and and handle all the headaches that come with fixing things? and then try to file a claim in the future and get dropped by your ins. co.? that's what'll happen if this keeps up. but maybe you don't live around here anymore? if not, then maybe you want to worry about your own neck of the woods and quit badmouthing all us "buffoons". we'll be fine!
No....we just really like our houses and don't want to see them destroyed!!! We need the jobs, but not at the expense of personal or property safety!!! Who's going to pay for the damage to our dwellings? There's a large crack in the concrete on our front porch, and we were 10 miles away!!!
