Missing Springfield attorney found

Anything new on this? Is he is still on the school board? Did he recover from his ailments whatever they may be ?!

Medical conditions played role in lawyer's disappearance

I can't imagine any of those conditions would explain a sudden onset of "amnesia". Will be looking forward to receiving more information from sources outside the family

According to the Facebook page his family/supporters set up for him, his only medical condition was high blood pressure. I would assume if he had a mental condition his family would know about it, disclose it to the searchers/police so they would know what they were dealing with. If an issue happened that would cause him to want him to get away from it all, I would assume his family would disclose that to searchers/police so they would know what they were dealing with. Did this happen? I don't know.

The news stories have been contradictory at best. There must be more to this story. My fav is the family's quote that they are still trying to get more information as to what the medical condition is. Really? You mean you didn't ask? You didn't talk to the doctors? Will the police just let it drop and not even insist on talking to him? The police file should be a public record now so I hope the newspapers ask for it. Originally the stories said they went to "pick him up" now they are just going to visit him! Maybe he doesn't want to come back?!

Oh and what about his medical condition? You know, the one that contributed to his disappearance? Wouldn't the police have taken him for medical attention before going to his brothers? Must have been a quick medical visit. Is he ok now? I guess that continues to be explored.

I'm confused. I thought the wife was at a prayer service when he called. Will more investigation be done or will this be dropped after all the resources expended?

Schoenike tells family he is fine and in Wisconsin

Im glad that he is safe. However there are many unanswered questions. Things that don't make sense. What sort of "medical condition" would one have that would prevent them from calling home yet permit them to travel all the way to Wisconsin? I assume the media will request all the reports now that this case is "closed" and will report the circumstances. And here's a big question. His wife saw him Friday morning. By Friday afternoon when she doesn't hear from him, the police are involved, they have pinged his cell phone and began an all-scale investigation. Is this how they would handle this if this was just a regular person or is this reserved for the rich and famous? Because I have a feeling if I tried report my spouse missing after not being able to reach him for a few hours the police would laugh at me! I hope they pay for the cost of the investigation.
