Trumbull children services director: Employees have 'fire in their belly' to help kids

I have to agree that there are some wonderful caseworkers at CSB who truly care about kids, BUT Marilyn Pape is the PROBLEM! Anyone who dares to disagree face repercussions or are no longer there. Then you have misguided Tim Shafner who only gets the information that MARILYN wants him to know. They may have put new security measures in place, but the attitude has not changed. As long as Marilyn Pape is there nothing will change. She has no respect for anyone but herself!

Judge James has earned another term on the bench

Judge James does not deserve to be elected for another term. He knew Cody Beemer's history and should have court ordered eyes on supervision instead of allowing CSB decide how much supervision was needed. If he had done his job right, this child would not have been raped. This child was his responsibility and he failed her in a big way. Read Ohio Revised Code 2151.417. Sandra Harwood is absolutely right!!

Trumbull CSB faces lawsuit alleging sexual misconduct

Really! The only comment that Director Tim Shafner has is to say that he is appalled that David Enlgler exposed these girls to the public in CSB parking lot to share their private information. This speaks volumes to me. What about saying he is appalled by what happened to thse girls. What about saying he is appalled that someone who's job it is to protect these girls from this very thing abuses their power to satisfy their own perverted ways. This agency needs SHUT DOWN!!!!!

Trumbull CSB faces lawsuit alleging sexual misconduct

I want to give these brave young girls a pat on the back for having the courage to come forward. These are only 3, how many others were there? What has to happen next for us citizens to stand up and say enough is enough? The worst thing is that this agency takes children away from their homes to prevent this kind of thing. How hypocritical!! How can we vote for anyone who is already in office knowing they have done nothing to protect these innocent children? Especially JUDGE JAMES. These children are Gods children and someday someone will have to answer to Him for hurting the children who's job is to protect them. I am so outraged I have no words.

Rape of infant at Tmb CSB yields no indictment against staff

We have a child murdered, a child raped while at the CSB facility, and then we have a worker tampering with the files.Yet they get away with it once again.Where is the justice in all of this for these innocent children? What has to happen next before we say enough is enough?I have lost complete faith in the system. They are being told that they can do whatever they want to these children and get away with it. I have no words to say that can express the outrage and disappointment I feel right now. How are we supposed to protect these children if the justice system won't protect them?
