Todd...yes this was an excellent piece of journalism that can not be published in anything put a newspaper, which should always be the best source for local news. Social media exists for decidedly different reasons.
But the print newspaper is dead or, at least, dying. So how about putting more of an effort into your online presence which is sorely lacking? And how about a mobile app?

I agree for once with you UticaShale. You should disclose who you are to comment: So here you go:
Ron Eiselstein is one of the biggest tax deadbeats in Mahoning County one check on the Mahoning County Clerk of Courts website. under his name shows hundreds of lawsuits and unpaid liens for taxes. This is the kind of scum that should not be allowed to own property in Youngstown
Ron Eiselstein has 50 records of lawsuits on the Mahoning County Clerk of Courts website, all but one in which he is the defendant. Many are judgements for money that remain open. He owes money to the city of Youngstown for demolition in the thousands according to the Clerk of Courts website.
He is also affiliated with Firepearl, which has 20 records listed, again as the defendant, and many are judgements for money that remain open.
Aside from numerous tax LIENS under his name. He also has many listed under this name Caraga Ltd.the following pages from the Ohio Secretary of State shows his name as the statutory agent.

Some back ground on Ron:
Aside from his shrimp farms scheme, which by the way he's looking for investors.
I realize Ron must be upset at me for exposing his facts. But they are, what they are, court records
VINDY ARTICLEYOUNGSTOWN — A magistrate rescheduled the sentencing date for a Youngstown man found guilty of a first-degree misdemeanor for cutting trees without the city's permission. Magistrate Anthony Sertick Jr. of Youngstown Municipal Court on Wednesday postponed the sentencing until next Wednesday for Ron Eiselstein, 46, of Fifth Avenue. Eiselstein pleaded no contest Nov. 27 to harvesting timber without a permit and was found guilty by Judge Robert A. Douglas Jr. Eiselstein cut trees on an East Side property in October with the owner's permission, but without a city permit to harvest timber.
Also Wednesday, Eiselstein was arraigned in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court on a fifth-degree felony theft charge. He is accused of cutting down trees without authorization in August from a Boardman property.
RON ALSO OWNS PROPERTY IN TRUMBULL COUNTY

Just out of curiosity, why does this community give any deference to Bruce Zoldan? I'm fairly knowledgeable about community affairs and he is a non-entity in terms of charitable giving. He really doesn't employ that many people locally. His product is illegal to use in most states. Its manufactured in China. And the hockey team...well has any one out there even gone to a game?
Why would we care who he wants to be the YSU president? Why did the Vindicator even ask him for a comment?

Honestly....$70,000 a year for a professional position isn't very much money at all. I'd say the schools have themselves a bargain at that price.

As I said before, fantastic news for the Valley in getting OUR tax dollars returned to US for critical projects.
Now...let the conspiracy theorists, lurkers, and wannabe mommy's basement dwellers, have their say. Because I give so very much import to their comments. LOL

300...I don't attack agnosticism or atheism as stupid. They are belief sets that any one is entitled to hold without criticism for doing so. I suggest you do the same when it comes to a person's religion.

I'm not sure who is worse. People like you who characterize our region as a "depressing cesspool" or the Tea Party.
Get out of the house much, Jeff?
