Port authority must conduct national search for director

Tim Ryan is not the answer, and Sarah Lown is certainly not the answer, nor is the Chamber. Politicians, political hacks and people with their hands out need to stay out of the process of creating a new port authority.

The commissioners from both counties need to put together a blue ribbon panel of business CEO's and owners, people that actually know how a business works, and let their only job be to find a new director.

When that task is completed they (the business owners) should be appointed to the new board if they want to continue to serve the community.

We need the port authority to function and attract business here, we have the infrastructure to do anything and we should exploit that.

Port authority funding and hiring of director placed on hold

Sarah is another political hack and got her job because of her friendship with Bob Hagan. There's not a single "professional" on that board or staff. FIRE THEM ALL!

Time for a "new" port authority.

Proposed hiring of Moliterno triggers more port authority controversy

Both counties need to cut off their funds!

The last time I saw John Moliterno he was drunk and started a fist fight with some guy over a woman.

Is this really the best we can do?

Fire everyone and start over again!!!!

Mahoning commissioners are rolling the dice

Brilliant thinking again David!

Most likely voters will reject the tax due to many of their elected officials getting indicted and going to jail by the time the election happens.

As far as the Ditz, your friends at the Board of Elections helped him win a race with their help, he's really a 3 time loser running for county office. The Ditz will be out will all the rest of them.

What exactly did you expect from the "Democrats for Change" they never looked up what the word change actually means.

Have another piece of candy David.

Belinky worst of the worst

Worst of the Worst? It's way too early to use that headline, there are so many more to come.

Belinky’s obsession was his undoing

"Also, the group’s infamous message board was a must-read for anyone interested in politics. It was a combination of outrageous gossip, genuine great tips and opinions."

That board was a disaster, 99% of the posts were wrong and not factual, and if you thought you were getting great tips and opinions off of it, it explains why the political reporting of this newspaper sucks.

You also forgot to mention that Belinky was elected secretary of the party in exchange for taking the board down, which he did. He was willing to play ball in order to become somebody.

Expect more charges to be filed (criminal) against Belinky as more cases are rolled out and more people are indicted. Then he will get the jail time he deserves.

I would think, with all that's going on David, you would be breaking news every day, you know, headline making news that sells newspapers.

But why don't you eat another piece of candy instead of reporting on all of the people, that you know, who are rolling over on each other while you sit there chewing. It's pathetic and part of the reason why we can't move forward, you don't do your job.
