Mahoning Valley helps deep-six Issue 2

The point I want to make is that in order to be credible in what you want others to do, you need to be doing the same thing. This is more than a money issue, it's an accountability issue also. My guess is that if he had done what he expects others to do, the vote would have been quite different.

Mahoning Valley helps deep-six Issue 2

Question....do the staffers and Governor Kasich practice what they preach? Didn't they all get raises in the middle of this economy, and do they pay for their beneifts too?
Inquiring minds...

Police, fire and school levies will always be there. No matter what happened yesterday, the school levies far outweighed the other issues, and most were voted down. Why, if they are getting so much from Columbus, do they continually have to ask for more money in the form of levies? Columbus already controls their cash.

Mahoning County files foreclosure action on Ponderosa Park

This park did make money at one time. The concerts were huge and packed with people who loved country music. It was beautiful with a nice resturant and places to park an RV that was a good vacation spot. I'm sorry to see it sit vacant. They tried to keep it running for a long time, now, it's too far gone to bring it back. So sorry.

Judge to rule on evidence in case against former DQ owner

You have got to be kidding! This is justice? Supress visible evidence because of a technicality? What have we done to the justice system?

Do you believe Youngstown Mayor Jay Williams has done an effective job thus far?

I can feel a positive attitude coming to Youngstown, something we haven't had in my lifetime. I feel safer and less of a victim. That comes from the Mayor keeping his word.
