The drug testing should be mandatory.I don't know why it has took this long for anyone to bring it up.There are way to may people on welfare using the money for drugs instead of food for their kids.This is a sad thing that has been happening for years.Why do we have to be drug tested to get a job to pay for the people on welfare and they just get to sit on there asses collecting our hard worked money as they are all jacked up on drugs.I see kids that are victims of drug users they are dirty,starving,and wearing dirty torn up clothes that don't fit.while their parents are spending all the welfare money on their drugs.The killing situation that is going on I am sure is due to all the drugs being used.Put a curfew in the problem areas and if people are caught on the street after curfew they should be arrested.I am sure when they are arrested they will be caught with drugs on them.This should take care of two things at once getting the streets cleaned up of drugs and slow down the killings.The cops need to start doing something instead of just sitting back and doing nothing.They just want to sit back also and collect their paychecks.The paperwork seems to be to much work so they rather ignore the problems.We bought a house in Ytown last year and had a stolen car in the garage.When we called the cops they didn't want to do anything about it.We had to track down the owners ourselves.I think this is a part of Ytowns problem the cops just don't want to get involved and do their jobs.
