Settlement calls for Lyndsey Hughes to receive $72,000

Start by removing the now President of Council and then mayor of Youngstown. His quote were " Well what do you expect? your a pretty girl".... How he isn't being blamed for part of this is beyond my belief. His arrogance is so below standards and should be removed from his position as well. And to think His big neanderthal son was running for Judge...... Oh and lets not forget that he also gave Mr. Demain Kitchen a sum of 4,000.00 who was running as an independent. ... Oh and wait when asked he also stated that he didn't remember what amount he gave his employee... Oh... and again his son stood on a platform and talked about integrity and loyalty.... Come on .... Someone should really look into these bafoons...... Oh and wait... how about the 20,000.00 he cost the city for his son's doomed bar that no one wants to talk about.... Maybe the AG office should look into these actions as well... Oh and please re draw the lines of this shrinking town and get rid of the no good do nothing Annie and Artie Gillian... They have done nothing positive in this Y-town... -

Maybe the AG office should look into these actions as well. I am over this Town and it's politics. I am glad I moved from Youngstown. However, this affects us all. What a sad day to have such incompetent people and former mayor and now indicted mayor.

Youngstown reaches settlement with Hughes in harassment case

I also wanted to say that this Arrogant President of Council if memory serves me correct was in the midst of when the city had to pay yet another harassment case when the fool Maceyko was running for Prosecutor... Come on People 110,00.00 then and now this ... The city better watch that their malpractice insurance does not drop them...

Dem judicial winners: Susan Maruca, probate judge; Anthony Donofrio, appeals court

I must admit with Westsider on this Statement.... All of his woman bashing, negative adds, non-friendly decorum, and constant stating he was a foot-ball player under Jim Tressel along with his crooked people on his campaign trying to manipulate it to go his way made him lose. You and your wife should really think before you speak and act... People in this county do not like that... You, I'm certain paid lots of money to Whomever your Campaign Manager is but you were fooled.....

Mahoning bar recommends ex-judge under investigation, rejects 3 other candidates

Let me get this correct.......... Are you kidding me.... I cannot believe that this Mahoning County Bar would stoop to such a low level and recommend A disgraced Judge as their favored. How many more attorney's were skimming from the same pockets that Belinky was drawing from. I am embarrassed and ashamed of these fools.... I can understand Hanni and Engler not being endorsed, but not Maruca. I recently re-heard her stance on what she believes in and trust me when I say she is the most and best qualified for this job. Shame, shame shame on you Mahoning County Bar Association.

YSU trustees approve tuition increase

So let me understand this. You hire a guy with a bad track record to be the President. He slaps you all in the face. You take the slap and then pay him to be on his way. Now you're asking these poor students to pay more money because of your untimely decisions. That is what you call priceless.

City school board approves travel expenses

Another waste of tax payers money to this city who's school who has failed us so miserably. So lets reward the same board members that elected to retain this useless Superintendent, who clearly does not have the best of interest for the Youngstown City Schools. I applaud Mr. Atkinson for his bravery.
