Ship it..your "negativity" will not be absorbed by me and it is my right (and the right off others) to beleive that God looks over or upon us or is within us. This forum is created to oppose peoples thoughts and views and congratulations your negative view has been shared as well as your ignorance. C_Dub..people just want to come here and make meaningless comments without thinking first, pray for them because these people walk amongst us *sad but true*
daddys angel..my daughters father(ex-husband) passed involved in substance abuse issues, similar to your dads (someone toook his life when she was less than a year old). My daughter is a young woman now and she knows alot about her fathers past and it has built character for her. My daughter is a strong, kind, compassionate and loving young lady. My daughters father would be proud of her as he looks over her from above..you will make your father proud because this will build character as well you will keep his memory alive not the incidents of that sad night. When I say keep his memeory alive by reminding people of who he was prior to this catastrpohe. I wish you and your brother the best...dream big...sweet dreams of happier times..**from one angel to another!!
Stan, I am in agreement with you. ..it's a shame and it seems to late to do much about it. I try not to be negative but I often wonder working for the courts day after day if people could ever change. The system has many resources for treatment but the truth to the matter is that the people involved "go through the motions" of treatment and 12 step meetings and when they have meet the legal requirements and are off probation or parole they go back to the same old... Then they wonder why they have no job, living in gov't housing~you must want to better yourself and therefore the next generation will learn by example. Sorry....im very passionate about people getting well and being functional people in society.
Parents often times are to busy making money to give there kids "all they didnt have" when what there kids "really" need is parents to raise them, hold them accountable and teach them morals and values~not to mention good work ethic so they dont become dealers (always seeking instant gratification).
jrainbowpride, you are right about Austintown I have a friend who works for the Juvenile Court and she states that most of the kids in Juvenile Drug Court/Diversion Programs come from Austintown. The sad thing is the parents don't and the schools dont want anyone to know the depths of addiction in Austintown. The parents brush it off and dont hold there kids accountable and then wonder why they overdise or end up in prison. Actually, a few of this young kids parents work for the police department.
BobK..I agree with you. Also, one of the charges was removed from one court and transferred to Sebring for "Conflict of Interest"~working in the system makes me realize that this only the second time I seen that. Curious of what that was about, but it doesnt change the devastation to the families who are a part of this tragedy.
I think if people took more time to support one another and speak kindly and offer a hand much of the hate we see in the world would and could subside.
We all have a right to voice an opinion that is why this forum is made available...but humans need to have compassion for others. I personally work for the courts and were familar with both people (I also know all the details) and theres substance abuse history. Mr. Kidd was working hard to get his daughter well becuase he loved her and had compassion. I was also familar with Rich and some of the most recent charges which were many, he was struggling with his life. I love what I do and to understand addiction and how it affects the families you must have uncondtional love for someone, but you also can't enable them. Many people are suffering this loss, speak kind words because we never know if this situation could have happened to anyone of our families. Also, we need to speak gently and not be so quick to JUDGE...
