1) The interesting thing about the article was that the Playhouse was only supposed to postpone the season. If that is true, why was John Holt gone and not answering questions for the Vindy article? Is it because he just leaves a sinking ship, or are the rumors true that he was skimming money from the Playhouse, which is why the board never saw financials?
2) Is there really no problems with the IRS, or is the rumor that the IRS has billed the playhouse for ba
These are times when I am embarrassed to be a Democrat. Between Dann and the Governor of Illinois, it's hard to keep your head up. That being said, you can spin the wheel and pick a Republican scandal on any given day as well. I am a Dem because I believe in our social platform, and that will never change, so I am stuck with it.
Computer Rick does scare me that he is as much of the problem as Dann is, and the Valley in general. The "that's just the way it is," attitude of most is unfortunately a self-fulfilling prophecy, as Rick notes in wanting to have enough money for him to do the same. That attitude is as much of why people leave this valley in almost equal number to the reasons of no jobs. Why stay in a town where even if you have a good job, it's still never wanting to improve by it's citizens.
It has to quit being the same old politics as usual here in the Valley. I congratulate Joe Schiavoni, and hope he sticks to his ideals and doesn't try to work the system, but just work for the people of the Mahoning Valley. When the worst you can say about a state senator is that he is inexperienced, well that's a lot better than most. Experience is highly overrated in politics. If everyone in every office of the land was term limited for 6 years, then experience might finally be bypassed in order for competence to finally reign. I'll take competence in life over experience in politics any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

I sure don't support polygamy, and other things that are just unacceptable to me, but I do have to tolerate it and love them for who they are, just dont make me have to live it. We are only asking for tolerance and acceptance as we are, another product of God's divine plan, none of us can be arrogant enough to know what that is.
