30 days per dog is a farce and a total lack of understanding by the court system in this case. Does anyone think the the owners of these dogs will ever get on with their lives knowing what happened to their pets that were more family members than just "pets"? If this was a tragedy that couldn't be helped than maybe the sentencing would be understandable, but that is not the case. This guy knew what he was doing and didn't care. The fact that after his probationary period he will be allowed to be around someones pet is a very frightening thought.
There was more justice in the Michael Vick case than in this case. I don't feel anyone who suffered a loss at the hands of Croley will feel justice has been done.
I hope that these people get together and sue him in civil court and take everything they can. Larry Murray Lynn, MA
Plea deal would bring 4 months in jail for animal cruelty
