No matter where it occured (which is totally unimportant you Canfield haters) it is still a horrific thing to have happened. Obviously this child has mental problems and needs to be dealt with immediately. Let's think of both the perpetrator AND the victim. Both will need counseling when this is over in the court system. This happens everywhere so instead of fighting over where it happened let's just work together to solve the problem.
God bless these brave men and let their precious souls remain forever with God. Their job was far from easy. They are basically on call 24 hours a day and sacrificied everything for their love of the job. To the families of those fallen - your job is to honor their memory. Their service is deeply appreciated and to all of them you have my deepest gratitude.

That doesn't mean that it's a happy occasion all around. I'm glad an innocent person was set free but please have compassion for this poor woman. Show some respect for the court please. Her family will forever be in mourning because of this horrible crime.

There was another person from Youngstown who survived the Titanic. She lived on the southside of Youngstown across the street from my grandmother. Out of respect I won't mention her name but it is listed in the back of one of the many books on Titanic. I believe she was in third class. We as children were never allowed to speak to her due to the fact that my grandmother thought we may say the wrong thing. I know she has been long dead but I think of her and what she went through on that night. God rest all the souls that went down. Great story.
