Year passes, owners still search for Sammi

Hey Handyman - it's obvious you have issues with being a real man. Now go home, take your Viagra and calm down.

Year passes, owners still search for Sammi

You're right pops. There's an awful lot of idiots out there. And haters. I took in a feral kitten a couple years ago and it slept with me on my neck every night. She was an inside cat but sniffed the night air one time and she was gone for 2 weeks. One night I opened my front door and she scooted in. She hid her little face in my arm half the night so excited to have found her way home. Cats know their way home. I had another one who walked 4 miles to get back to my home. Took her 3 weeks to find me. Don't give up on Sammi. She'll come home as long as no one has her which could be a possibility. There are a lot worse things these people could spend their money on. Let's get some compassion here people. Pets are family too.

City schools need parental involvement

Really???? You just figured that out??? Instead of writing a prescription for parental involvement write one for how to get off Medicaid. Instead of sitting home and smoking dope maybe the govt. should take away all the freebies and make the mamas accountable. It all goes hand in hand. I won't ask where the fathers are. That would be politically incorrect!

Oakhill prosecutors plan to use records related to cost of moving county agency

When are people going to realize that Y- towns politics will never change. When my parents generation passed I thought my generation would be different. Unfortunately it wasn't. Corruption is all around us. I no longer stump for anyone or even put a sign in my yard. Give us one honest man!!! Well, we had one then we nailed him to the cross. Haven't seen one since!

Cemetery tours provide historical overview of Youngstown

So much history. Beautiful site to tour. Too bad more people aren't interested in Youngstown history. It is absolutely amazing to see what street was named after who. Nice story.

One ‘ruff’ time for Mahoning County humane society

NOT accusations pal. Cold hard truth. Check their record for practicing without a license. The Ohio Veterinary Board has had numerous legitimate complaints on them. If you're going to do a half axx job then don't do it at all. You only hurt the innocent animals. Tell my dead pet Animal Charity is now legit. They didn't even apologize. They covered it up till the State board intervened. Rude and devious people are what I experienced there as did many others. Once the Keltys passed on the agency went to pot. Perc Keltys is now turning in his grave!

One ‘ruff’ time for Mahoning County humane society

First of all they have had big problems with past veteranarians. Unscrupulous is the word I prefer. Then they were caught practicing without an agency license about a year ago. It' all on record. I could go on and on about what goes on there and what I've experienced. Sinful. They draw more complaints than any agency I have ever seen. The personnel could use some in depth training also. Would never recommend them to anyone.
