Hey Richard (may I call you DICK?). First of all I never even got a parking ticket - ever. Not even a moving violation . Don't care if u believe it or not. Talk about salty! You seem to have invented the word. Too bad you feel you have to pick on women to enhance your size. There's meds out there for that!!!'

Hey Billdog1- I've had encounters with deputies that are as qualified to be a police officer as Ernest T. Bass. I' m not a criminal nor have I ever gotten stopped by them. I HAVE seen their cocky arrogant behavior though . Most of those guys work part time and don't get paid very much. Let's just say they are not the cream of the crop. They don't know the laws and wing it most of the time. They are NO ONE out of uniform and they know it. Sheriff Greene better watch before he has a Ferguson on his hands believe me. These guys make the Keystone Cops look like rocket scientists!

Ha ha Dave! So true! Mahoning County Sheriff Deputies are the worst. Where do they get these clowns! Untrained and cocky. No public relations training. Sheriff Greene would be better off with Opie and Otis running the show!!!

Cops called for tow, BAC operator, for traffic stop of officer’s relative

Wow! I thought that sort of thing only happened in the old days! So sad the rest of us have to pay a price if we break the law. Let's see what happens.

Holiday shopping downtown Youngstown was 'magical'

Every day I think of the happiness downtown brought. Everyone dressed up . Women wore their pearls and heels. Men wore ties. Stores were magnificent! Never any trouble either. No one carried a gun but the cop on the beat. It was a piece of heaven on earth. So was Idora. We'll never have anything like that again. The downtown area is nothing like it was. It's a place where frat brothers go to get drunk and walk up to the University and destroy property. So sad. Thank you though for the memories. Camelot has come and gone.

South Avenue shop owner dies after shootout

I grew up on the south side of Youngstown in the 60.s. It was crime free. I remember walking to Isalys, Garramones and many mom and pop stores. It was wonderful. Sp sad to see what has happened to it. Too many punks walking around while mom is out doing drugs and dad left a long time ago. This is what our society has turned into. Just awful.
