But I’m with your one critic on this - Emily Post most certainly did NOT shake her “money maker.” It is well known that Mrs. Post (she abhorred Ms.), had to divorce her husband because of his constant carousing with chorus girls. If she could have shaken it…he wouldn’t have had to stir it in the cheap seats. Which, unless I’m misreading, is what you are saying you and your wife were doing.
