Poland Board members are robbing lower and middle income kids and families from the chance to participate in sports and band.
How do the Board members sleep at night knowing they are robbing kids of the chance to play sports.

Sorry losters, Utica is right. You Youngstown people cannot see the garbage right under your own noses.
Be a doer, not a taker. Utica left home to make a buck. You other people just sit on your butts and take government money or attend school till middle age.

Three of the five Board members will kill Poland schools. It's a shame the community over there is letting it happen. Absolutely no one was for the extremely high pay-to-participate fees and will be a burden to families. Kids are being robbed by certain short sighted Board members.
They are supposed to listen to the community, not dictate to them.

What, no mention that these 5 loser boys were part of the Occupy movement?
The AP shows how biased it is in not noting this fact. Could you imagine the press if these 5 were part of the Tea Party?
Biggest threat to our nation right now is the mainstream press and how they filter the news to fit their political agenda.
The press used to be a watchdog for the people, now they are political operatives pushing a liberal agenda.

Youngstown fire dept is grossly overstaffed and bloated. Less buildings, less residents and new buildings have sprinkler systems.
I drove by a kitchen fire last month and they had 5 big fire trucks and 3 Suburban SUVs with fire dept emblazoned across the sides. Ridiculous.
Cut 2 million per year from fire dept and put that towards the debt.

All great posts.
The tax would stand no chance of passing, so forget that.
Eric Ryan is doing a super job of running the Covelli, so there is no fault there.
Let's face it, in 10 years it will most likely be the Covelli Casino.

Exactly why the right to bear arms is so important...government cannot keep us safe against these thugs.

Urban complained that they need a new stadium to help the kids. Suburban raised the money to build the stadium.
Urban said give us jobs, give us a steel mill. Suburban gave him V&M. Urban failed the drug test 70% of the time and could not be hired.
Urban said give us bus service throughout the county. Suburban voted that in. Walmart in Boardman lead the police blotters in incidents. Dicks moved away because it lead the country in shoplifting loss and the new store is not on the bus line.
Urban said help us with the high crime rate. Suburban asked witnesses what happened. Urban said we don't snitch.
Urban cried for more help. Suburban finally built a fence around its own community and told Urban to figure out their own problems.

Did you ever notice when someone is murdered in Youngstown the police are all over it and usually arrest someone pretty quickly? It seems they do an excellent job.
