Mahoning County seeking new dog warden

I personally hope that they do not hire someone from within. I am not real good with the group of people that work down there right now. I do believe that Matt has done a good job and Dave Nelson continues to put his heart and soul into the dog pound but the other people that work down there I feel just work there to collect a paycheck. Thank God for Friends of Fido this organization is ran extremely well and helps get these dogs out of the pound and into rescues or loving homes. Please carefully consider who you make Dog Warden for the sake of the dogs.

Mourners feel for Brendan Danes; lost parents in crash

I feel so sorry for this little boy. My heart aches for him. I have to say though what is wrong with our court systems? This monster that killed his parents should be either in jail for all his DUI's or have no driving rights. My thoughts and prayer are with this little boy.....

Pavlik could return to ring on April 14

Pavlik is a big let down for the city of Youngstown. He's better off in California!!

Law would address kennel abuse

Nitro's Law needs passed!! It is long overdue!! As an animal lover myself, these people that commit these crimes need to be charged with felonies!!

In loving memory of Diane Adamson owner of Ridgeview Kennel who passed away on Saturday Sept. 3,2011.

She took excellent care of my dogs when I traveled out of town. You will be deeply missed.

Pavlik moves on, no regrets

Do us all a favor and retire!! The name Kelly Pavlik doesn't mean s#@$ to Youngstown. You are a sore loser and greedy as hell!! Why don't you try working for what we work for. You chose your career not us, so if your tired of being punched in the face for a living maybe you should pick a new career.

Source: Pavlik exaggerated Kessler offer

I see it like this he doesn't want to work for peanuts..... Why not it will go good with his beer. How can the people of the Youngstown area continue to back someone like Pavlik when he always let's us down!! I know everyone makes mistakes, but in all honesty he needs to figure out what he wants to do. He needs to clean up his act and box or retire!! I don't think the money Top Rank offered him for those fights was unreasonable considering the trouble he's been in. He is going to be lucky if Top Rank doesn't cancel his contract, I know I would have!!
