I said Tim Ryan would run for governor almost 2 years ago! A good congressman must possess traits and values such as honesty, integrity, and care for his constituents, but when it comes to Tim Ryan, he hasn't done CRAP for the valley. He ignored those who tried to contact him by mail, email and phone. His entire agenda has been to stay under wraps until his 'big surprise' announcement tomorrow. Maybe the (80%) democrat base in the Youngstown area will blindly vote for him as governor, but the REST of Ohio isn't so blind and stupid. Even Tim can't hide his inept and wasted time as a representative forever. He has the brain power of his mommy - Pelosi. Tim looks for any new business success in the valley, then jumps in to take credit dispite his lack of interest in helping business. He also let the injustice of the Delphi salaried employees go on for THREE YEARS before jumping on the bandwagon to look like he cares......... so he writes a frigging letter! Now he wants to be on a committee with people who have been fighting the PBGC, Tim Geightner, Bloom (Auto Task Force) and Obama since 2009 and make it appear like he actually DID something for injustice. WAKE TF UP people! This guy is a slug trying to move up when he hasn't done the job in congress! Look at the unemployment in the valley. You want the whole state to end up like his district?
Obama was the one who endorsed a plan that saw a GM bankruptcy process that became anything but normal as he appointed his Auto Task Force and Geightner to assure that the UAW was well taken care of. It amazes me that many union members believe they were topped off because they had a contract, The contract had NOTHING to do with it. Union contributions to the Obama campaign had something to do with it. The complicity of a new GM contract had something to do with it. I'm glad the union members were topped off, but the salaried employees' pension account was funded. The Obama regime didn't let the PBGC acknowledge this and the money is still there. The taxpayers wouldn't be liable.
The constitution begins with 'We the People'. The individual and community have the right to zone their property BEFORE state and federal legislation kick in. I know many of (you) people could care less about their rights and liberties as we have seen what tyranny has done to destroy our bill of rights, but here are still some left. The little known right is still under the ninth amendment. Don't give away everything in the name of greed.
The cops deserve a raise if that's all they're making. They waited long enough. I can't believe the city get's a windfall from oil, with royalty coming and forgets their safety forces . $30-40K .... long overdue.
Interesting that the AFL/public service unions spent millions to stop Kasich from having these unions share some of the expense to provide health care and pensions, (like the 5 million Ohio private sector does). Now the city is considering it. Maybe Youngstown sees that places like Scranton and Stockton are an example of what can happen to them. Kasich was and is right about the taxpayers not be 'at the table' during negotiating unlimited benefits at the private sectors' expense.

Poland Preserve development moves ahead
Progress? $5000 an acre for rights to drill, then TONS of money on royalties. That will pay off itself in a short time.

You get 3 years a killing, yet the IHOP robber gets four years. I guess depopulating is good now.
