Dogged by questions

While visiting Calvary Cemetery on Tuesday afternoon I was treated to a spectacular sight a beautiful Rottie was nestled comfortably, basking in the sunlight between two trees. As I approached, the form of the dog was posed so perfectly I thought that maybe the family had erected a statue of their dog. No the dog was real. He was large and from the gray on his face I could tell he was mature. He was absolutely beautiful!! I wanted to take him home, he looked very forlorn almost as though he was mourning or possibly visiting his owner that was buried beneath the ground he lay on? The sadness in his eyes was very real. I didn't know whose dog this was at the time and I was not threatened by him in the least. I did let the office know about the dog so that they could take care of the matter and hopefuly return him to his rightful owner unharmed. I guess I was too late for that. Mr. Patoray I am so sorry to hear that Sampson was hurt, I hope not badly. It is unfortunate that your dogs got out of their confinement I hope that you find out how they got out so that it doesn't happen again, for their sakes.
