As a Journey fan I never thought that anyone could do the old songs as well as Steve Perry until I listened to Arnel Pineda on You Tube. All I can say is WOW. Amazing old school sound!
Charles Serafino, who was shot seven times, survived the attack and pressed for Getsy’s execution.
“It’s not going to change my life. But it’s justice for my mother, and that’s what she deserves,” said Serafino, who planned to witness Tuesday’s execution.
TB, I agree that Mike's death was a major tragedy and Kolisar ending his life does not make life any easier for the family but society is much better knowing dirtbags are off the street. I will agree there are mistakes made and innocent men are sometimes cleared but in cases with hard irrefutable evidence, let the condemned meet their maker. If the evidence is not there the death penalty should not have been handed out. Neither you nor I will fix the issue, we just have to deal with it.
Detective Sgt. John Payne reported for work Aug. 10 over the departmental limit for alcohol. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? The limit should be ZERO! And those that use the excuse, "he may have been sick and took NYQUIL that is what sick days are for, stay home. I don't want a gun carrying cop making alcohol clouded decisions on my streets. And if he was over .08, he should be arrested for DUI if he drove to work. Was he driving a City car? This officer shows he has the poorest judgment and I would not trust any of his work. Now all bleeding hearts that say he was a decorated officer yadda, yadda, yadda I don't want to hear it. If he was a good officer in the past this tarnishes that record. His employment ends NOW!
sistersun: yes, everyone is someone's children, even Charlie Manson had parents. what is your point? Live by the sword, die by the sword.
redvert: I agree
TB: are you refering to officer Mike Hartzill's killer? If I remember correctly his killer, Martin Kolisar killed himself and wasn't executed. However, execution may not bring back the victim and I know it does not deter future murders but it eliminates the pieces of garbage that usually litter our streets after they are released. Since the prison rehabilitated them and they found God while locked up they return as productive human beings. NOT!
Greetings from So Cal! Congrats! I grew up just down the street on Delason Ave and Glenwood. I ate my fair share of frozen custard and will definitely come back for a visit just for the custard. It is part of my best childhood memories along with Idora Park
