Didn't Rep. Hagan have to pledge to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States when he became an elected official? I seem to remember something (like maybe the 1st Amendment) that protects our freedom of speech, and freedom of the press. Now if Rush Limbaugh broke the law, then maybe Hagan would have a case, but I've heard FAR worse language than the word "slut" being used on the radio waves and TV waves of this country and this city. Not only that, but if you look up the actual definition of the word Rush used, it's hard to argue that it was not used in it's denotative way. Sure it was a poor choice of words for Ms. Fluke, but hardly inaccurate. I'm sure if someone chose to, they could get more signatures on a petition to KEEP Rush on the radio.
UPDATE: Hagan petition to get Limbaugh off Youngstown airwaves gaining support
