Fairminded --- SAVAGE is more or less a gang at the least it is a 'crew'. A crew whose mentality and actions contribute to incidents just like this.
Not saying that these kids (savage) intended for this to happen or participate in such barbarism, but thinking your hard, talking crap and always trying to intimidate and even fight easier targets definately contributed to this happening.
If it was not for SAVAGE I do not think Verdarell would have even been there.
While ther is no reason to doubt that the schools handled the situation, the paper does not tell us what the schools actually did.
In reality, the only reason this made the paper is becase someone made a police report and my guess is that it was not the school, but the victims parents that did.
I wonder what did the school actually did do. Unless there was or has been a pattern with this bully I bet they did no more than a 1 day out of school suspension. I would shoot for 3 days, what do you all think is a suitable punishment?
