This shows everyone how well run our township is. How do you not put the broken tombstones into the insurance claim? My grandparents are buried in this cemetery, it is a same that the Township cannot get things right. I hope we can get someone with a brain this fall to run against whoever is up for re-election.

It didn't pass last fall because everyone in the townships knows how the trustees like to move money between the Fire, Police and the General Fund. How does a resident know that this money will be used specifically for road repairs. I live in the Liberty and work for a major Construction Company in the area and until i see something diffrent or a competive bid package put together to for resurfacing projects I am still sceptical on how they will use this additional funds.
Just doing rough estimates it would cost $500,000 to pave Tibbets Wick Road and $250,000 for Mansel Drive. To resurface them the correct way so they will last 20 years. If they do it the cheap way i could see the estimates cut in half and you will be resurface these roads in 5 - 10 years.
The levy wouldn't even cover enough to resurface one road per year if you are lucky maybe two smaller roads.

If the OEPA has photographic, video and eye witness evidence, why didn't they stop it when it was happening, before the 40-50k gals of pollutants where dumped into the storm sewer.

I hope the money actually will go to the road department.

I hope the money actually will go to the road department and not the flower planting department in Liberty!

Liberty will see another 4 years of unpaved roads, expensive girard water when its avalible, wastefull spending and more flowers.

You did a really nice job showing all the work that ODOT is going to be doing this summer constructions season. The only problem with your article is that ODOT will only be doing 2 Billion dollars worth of work this year not 200 Billion. Keep up the good work!
