I can't for the life of me figure out what middle class Valley dwellers have in common with a guy worth $250mm and whose companies have outsources thousands of jobs to Asia. Just can't figure out how that resonates with someone living paycheck to paycheck! This is the guy that's going to fix everything for you? Despite the facts that he has flipped on nearly every major stance such as abortion, medical reform ('Obamacare' was crafted after his solution while governor of Mass) and the auto-industry bailout.
Exactly. Now the mom is dead and the dad will be locked away and the child has neither parent. This guy is no dad, he's a selfish ***** who didn't have his child's best interests in mind. Tragic.
HellaBB- I beg to differ just a bit...our business recently opened a new office in Boardman and i see plenty of new businesses popping up on 224 (new Quaker Steak, Circuit City building sold, HHGregg moving into Sofa's Plus, etc.). I noticed that our building has 2 new business tenants and many commercial realty firms have gone on record about a pickup in business this year. Is it perfect? no, far from it but any improvement is an improvement. Maybe if you were actually living in the area, you'd see some of these developments.
ha! i like Dave's quote-...'they want us to keep the price of basic cable low.' at over $50.00/month for basic cable, where's the low price? There are dozens of channels we don't want but we're stuck with, what difference would one more make? We've been seriously considering dish or directv as the basic is much much lower. That and you can watch darn near anything via your computer. Where is Verizon FIOS?!?!?!?!
what a brilliant idea! What faster way to get businesses to relocate out of Boardman? -The township believes that the owner should help pay for that, he said- Do owners not already do that in the form of paying taxes for the right to use/consume those services? For every Wal-Mart that ties up a police officer for a shoplifting case, there are a thousand businesses that don't/won't call the police a single time in a year (or 3, 5, 7, 10 years). Why not just put toll booths at every entrance into Boardman? Cut to the chase!
@dasani1971-not quite as simple as that, especially when it comes to automotive. here is a list from 2006 which outlines the % of content from the US/Canada. I would guess this % is even higher in 2010. http://www.automotiveaddicts.com/inth...
