Youngstown won’t rule out school closings

All 3 of the schools mentioned have one thing in common. They can accept every student they want and can return/reject every student they do not want. It would be great to select the students we can educate. This is the great life of a private school. Any iep students at these kids...Answer is NO!!! All students accepted have iq's over 90 and score high on the entrance exam. Can the ycsd do this? answer is NO!!! Youngstown students are safe except from the predator recruiters that attract to the great students in 7th and 8th grade who show potential.

Superman

The close to 100 ycsd kids going to mooney and ursuline are not paying for this. Most are on "scholarships" for athletics. This is not free, but paid for by a voucher. They are recruited and told they are given a scholarship. Again, the scholarship is paid for by a state voucher. Close to $40 million is being sent from the district to charter schools and parochial schools per year

the parochial schools are taking the voucher when taking a city school student. Yes, the money follows the student. Reagrdless if they go to a parochial, charter, or computer school.
