County looks to close South Side Annex this fall

If they leave it vacant without at least power and alarm systems activated, it will soon be stripped of all metals and everything of value. The county should either let the task force use it until it is sold, auction it off while it is still temporarily occupied, or use inmate labor to strip the building itself and recover the scrap value the metals hold. I can envision a totally-stripped public safety hazard attracting vandals, dope fiends, and juvenile delinquents. The city will end up paying to demolish the place after spending time on many public safety calls by police and fire to the abandoned hulk if the county follows it's lack of planning.

Double homicide in Youngstown

The smartest thing that one can do is to move from Youngstown. The south side isn't fit for human habitation. Here's a blog I've found that describes all of the many reasons to move FROM Youngstown:

Mark & Ron should get together and discuss how they're going to screw us over next.

Focus on the majority of workers

And Yates and Grate can sue me all they want, because all of it is TRUE!

Focus on the majority of workers

The public workers are very, very lazy. Here's a copy of an email I sent to rectify a filthy drug house/blight situation on the south side:

The house at 220 Pasadena Ave. is occupied by Jesse Grate, Penny Yates, 3 children, and 4 dogs. The interior of the home is filthy, and the basement is full of trash and dog feces. The health and safety of the children is in peril. Exposed electrical wiring is an added hazard. The exterior of the house is in bad condition. Several windows are broken and boarded up, and the whole house needs painting. The front door is screwed shut, thus posing a fire hazard for the occupants, as there is only one working exit for a 2 1/2 story home. The property is littered with trash and demolition debris. Construction/demolition debris and trash is being transported to this location from other locations to be piled at the curb or burned in a bonfire pit at the rear of the property. Recently a large swimming pool was installed in the backyard, and filled up by bypassing the water meter. Marijuana and pills are being sold from this house. Zoning, water department, and police need to curtail these illegal activities/conditions.

Nothing at all was done, and the illegal activities continue at the above address. The city workers cater to the takers, and enjoy the blighted slums they produce through their own laziness. That makes them fellow takers!

V&M deal hits snag

Girard is like one big family. The mayor of Youngstown is trying to steal land from the family. Lets not let these out-of-towners steal our terra firma. This concern can show that it is loyal to the family by building their works here in OUR city. They can pay US our share of taxes.
