I can't believe how many people are trying to legitimize the small amount of drugs found and the "inconvenience to the courts". The fact of the matter is the drugs are illegal at this time and any amount is unacceptable. If these people want to do drugs I suggest they move to someplace where it is legal, preferably out of this country. Our society has enough druggies, lazy bums, and just plain stupid and ignorant people.

Maybe we could start with the elected officials from Youngstown that have already been incarcerated.......lol

Was this woman already under surveillance since she paid with "marked" bills? If not I'm wondering how the person receiving the cash could not spot a fake. Even the good fakes don't have the characteristics of real currency. For example the ridges on the bottom portion of the portrait cannot be duplicated with inkjet paper.

I can understand the McGuire family's feelings. Having said that, what about the pregnant woman he raped and killed? What about her family? They are still suffering I'm sure. For what Dennis McGuire did I feel he deserved to die and if he suffered in the process then so be it.

AdoptanAngel, the article is incorrect. Fairgreen avenue is in fact on the north side. I see this often in the news media in Youngstown.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time........unless of course your mom is a judge.

Yes, mnascar, if done correctly, a well placed bullet would "turn off the switch" immediately. The problem is we have bleeding heart liberals in this country who feel that the firing squad is "cruel and unusual punishment". What is more cruel than raping and stabbing to death a pregnant woman? I'm sick and tired of all these criminals who have no problem taking someone's life but are too cowardly to have the same done to them.

Ytownnative..............."A white male went to the register to buy something. After getting the total, he pulled out a gun and said, “Give me the money,” police said.".......Did you read the article? A white male pretty much sums it up.

That's nice. I'm happy and thankful that I have family to spend time with on Thanksgiving rather than go to a store along with other bozos to get fake bargains. P.S, Don't complain about the customer service because most of the employees there are forced to work the holiday and would rather be enjoying it with their families. It's sad, really. Thanksgiving has evolved from a holiday to get together with family to people rushing to stores to save a few bucks on junk they could easily purchase later for probably the same price.
