How is the Vindicator ruining someone's life? If this idiot wants to drink and drive he's surely ruining his own life and potentially ruining the life of someone he may hit while driving under the influence. Sometimes the truth hurts ..........get over it.
We will continue having these kind of problems as long as we keep coddling drug users. Drug business, as any business is, is supply and demand. If we can't ( or won't ) do anything about the supply, then attack the demand. People arrested for illegal drug sales should be executed. Those arrested for drug use should be given one and only one chance to get clean. The second arrest should result in life on some deserted island where they can waste their life away with the other stoners. If we don't stop coddling these people and treating them as "victims" the problem will never go away. At some point the decision to use drugs was voluntary and actions should have consequences.
That's the mentality of many folks around here....go on public assistance and get high. I work in a store on the south side of Y-town and I see it daily. People reeking of weed and alcohol and from time to time finding used heroin needles in the parking lot. I don't see treatment being an option because these people want to get high and want handouts and sadly I don't see this behavior changing or even being able to be changed.
"A teenager who wore a T-shirt with “killer” scrawled across it and gestured obscenely at his sentencing has appealed his life prison term for killing three students in a school cafeteria.". I'm not sure what is worse, the dude wanting to appeal or the lawyer who filed it. At the very least he should never be free again. If it were up to me he'd get death.
"Part of the incentive for officers to make those gun arrests is a program wherein officers who make more than five arrests for guns receive an acknowledgment pen and time off. Thus far, more than a dozen officers have reached the benchmark of five arrests, and several have exceeded it."......Wow! Needing incentives to curb illegal activity??? WTF!
Seven years for molestation? He is “salvageable”? Really?? IMO this man should die, but the ONLY way he should be released would be to remove his genitals and place him on house arrest with an ankle bracelet.
Once you reach the age of 19 or 21 the guidance should have already been given, and in his case it was probably bad. Keep him and his wife in jail for the full term.

Man who raped, killed baby seeks clemency
I don't care how much remorse he has or how good of an inmate he is, he raped and killed an infant. He does not deserve to live.
