Microchips generally cost $50.00 or so to implant. The yearly registration costs anywhere from $25.00 to ???. Go to your pound and adopt a friend for life. I agree Salem,I have seen some rescues ask $750.00 and your spleen to adopt a dog. My pound puppies are happy and have adjusted just fine.
