Just wanted to say that I have housed my AKC German Shepard at this same place under the new management. It is very clean and my dog was well taken care of. He has been there twice with no incident.
The Prosecutor recommended 8 years, I repeat 8 years, for the murder of a very productive member of society and not to mention a VERY NICE LADY. Darla had a good 20 or 30 years left of her life and it was cut short by a girl who obviously doesn't care about anyone but herself and she is recommended to get ONLY 8 years. Now that's BULLSH*T!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm still waiting for the charges for the three 'Thugs in Training'. They should be charged in Robert's death also. They bear as much responsibility in Roberts death as Paul Sundy.
I feel that Paul and Karen should have called the police when this incident first happened. However, I also believe that those boys, and I will go as far at to call them thugs in training, should have left that man, his girlfriend and their children alone. Had they been in bed where they belonged and not out harrasing a law abiding, productive, business owner and his very quiet, respectful daughter, Robert Flynn would be alive today. They made very bad decisions and are old enough to know what they were doing and I believe that they would not have left this issue go even if the police would have been called. They had every intention of inflicting harm to someone in that house whether it was Paul Sundy, Karen Sundy or one of the innocent children in the house.
I agree with your comment, however, I also think ther should be charges brought against the three boys who were also there. They should not have been there in the first place and we wouldn't be having this discussion.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE ARE NO CHARGES AGAINST THE JUVENILES??? Those boys are just as guilty in Robert's death. They should not have been anywhere near that house at 2:00 in the morning. Paul and Karen were in their home minding their own business.
I live in Hubbard. Mr. Nemenz was always there to support the youth of Hubbard. He was a huge contributer to anyone that ask for help. The Picketers did not intimidate me, I just didn't like the selection that was in the store. It sure would be nice to have a grocery store on this side of town again. Let the useless union find a better way to spend their time and money. Maybe if they would support the youth of the community like Henry Nemenz more people may actually consider giving them their money.
I completely agree with Rokscout. Y-town USED to be a nice place to live. I grew up there, moved away and then tried to come back and live. While I was gone for 4 years the THUGS moved in. We couldn't see trying to raise kids there. They threatened us and attacked our pets every chance they got. We were in the process of trying to fix up the house we purchased and all we got was grief not only from the THUGS but also from the great Police Force (if that's what you want to call them). When we called them they would say, why do you live here anyway? Needless to say we didn't stay long.

Youngstown is a JOKE, from the Mayor to the Prosecutor to the Police Officers. Born and raised there but glad to be gone.
