Statewide drive to repeal SB 5 gets green light

too funny. The middle class giving succor and support to the aristocracy of public employee unions. And you wonder why life is a struggle and you are broke? Anyone who thinks SB5 should be repealed and who doesn't work for a union.... deserves to struggle with the basics. Get some brains people.

Fresh eyes

I love u Youngstown but sorry.... govt subsidized solar panel and windmill production are just more welfare that doesn't fix anything. China will be the primary supplier of windmill and solar parts. Talk about time, money and hope being wasted.

Are pickets picking on Henry?

dumb unions. You would think Youngstown would tire of destroying itself after this many years. Meanwhile the world goes on without you.

Some people just don’t see the progress GM has made

One more comment my dummy youngstowners. The American auto industry would not disappear if GM went under. it would end up being owned and managed by new owners and probably get truly revitalized. Now you have more of the same.... hope and change byatches.

OK three thoughts. 1) I and everyone else I know will never buy a GM car again. They are tainted by the Obama admin and are offensive to any American who believes in the free market. I already pay my taxes so GM will never get more of my money. Ever. 2) Labor unions were legit in the early 20th century. They are bullsh*t now and are little more than organized crime. For example.... it is ridiculous to think that even government employees (any of them) require the protetion of labor unions. 3) The Democrats are using you. Their friends get rich on outsourcing while you vote for them thinking they are protecting your union/you. dumbasses. All of you.

Liberty schools plan to sue state

Good luck Mr. Lucas. I like the idea of voucher programs but this sounds like pure unintended consequences. After a certain point it is clear that the way these vouchers are funded are bringing harm to the public school and students.

Valley's jobless put picture on grim statistics

You/ve been herded into a pen. In exchange for food and a section 8 voucher you will vote Democrat and sell them your soul and brain. Im so sorry Youngstown. I loved you once.

Valley's jobless put picture on grim statistics

This is so sad. I tried to warn you all my friends that supporting Obama will cause all capital and entrepreneurs to go on strike. How do you like Obama now you fools? This being said.... you are being screwed by Democrats who want to use and harvest you. No poor jobless person gets redeemed by democrats. You ve been sold out and lied too. And now... even the rich business people are being discouraged from helping you thanks to the leader you voted for.

GM axes afternoon shift at Lordstown

Hmmmm.... Lot of good all the straight democratic voting does. Wouldn't you prefer an honest ron paul style economy rather than govt choosing winners and losers and suckering the sheeple? Democrats are the biggiest recipients of bank and union contributions. The unions are corrupt. A tyranny of the old over the young. We've been sold out. At least China is in for a pound or two of economic and political hurt itself after what has happened to the Valley. Those poor Chinese and their terrible government. I know you all want to sell yourselves into slavery and have the govt take care of you but that is what got us here to begin with.
