Sad day for YPD. The good officers out there everyday doing a job most would not want to do. This person is a bad representative for the Department.

Guess if he would have had a parking ticket they would have got him sooner.Time to put political rehires out to pasture and get some progressive thought going for what is left of the city.

Mr. Bush should have paid it when he took his severance before retiring from the city before ending back up in the money trough. There has to be someone more qualified to do both the job at JFS and county law offices. Maybe Mr. Gains can plea bargain this deal like all the others. The county officials should honestly look and say how can we expect deadbeat dads to pay when deadbeat politicians will not own up to their obligations. Might be time to ship him to private practice. We will see what the county officials do to control credibility to JFS.

Little early in the game to say what the benefits of tax revenues will bring. Reports are that now when having to pay taxes on their products profits are nose diving and select producers are claiming completion is lowering price points to where not the so called cash crop it once was. But take heed to reports that many jobs are going unfilled due to inability to pass drug screens. I personally don't want train, plane or motor operators using drugs on their day off because they paid taxes.

Terrible act of vandalism! Should have a law that desecration of cemetery is a no plea felony. Probably been doing this type of thievery for awhile. Shameful!

Great Going ! The monitor should also deny any upper level pay perks for administrators ..I would venture to say austerity should be the word of the day.Make them spend our money like it was coming out of their paycheck. Maybe they will think twice before some expenditures are executed

OhioAtty666 has it right. The parties involved all were shortsighted in their view of not having the city combine into a central high school downtown. First overall cost savings as well as decreasing property valuations could have been avoided. Now high costs and student flight both white and black have left a crumbling system spiraling downward .Once again if we can believe that 3 years of 5 million dollar savings will turn around a 46 million deficit I will be amazed They will probably give raises to all involved except teachers and wonder why the debt is uncontrolled. If the state wants to fix the issue take over and run it like a successful business. There are enough people at the water cooler at 20 West Wood . Put them to work and make them accountable ONE more assistant anything is one too many..

You would think an accidental spill would be our safety cry. But to have willing participants this tragedy is reprehensible. The fines must be made to fit the crime. Bonding must be in muliples of millions . Due to the nature of this crime minimum sentencing in regular prision must be new standard!

First WE must first start at the top. If there are less children why are the administrators at same levels . Pass a resolution that NO retiree can be hired at any in adminstrative capacity.Pull up through the ranks and let others learn as mid managers and new fresh ideas instead of failed recycled ideas that failed us in the past. Corrective action must be taken to stem the losses. NO administrative raises or fake titles. The Vindicator should publish the rehired administrators and their salaries. Let us start by at least know what we are paying for and not getting

Great opportunity. However where is local employment for graduates.? If it is a career center then you would think they would be training for manufacturing technologies and associated disciplines. The oil boom is Here. !
