All citizens have rights. You have a right not to be harrassed by the police just because they don't particulary like what you say. Black people have been harrassed and arrested for years without committing a crime. We have been pulled over many times for driving while Black. This is 2009 and the harrassment of people due to their race needs to stop.

The LA area has over 100,000 gang members and over 5000 different gangs. You have an army for that? Did the last 8 years of conservatives do anything to solve this problem??NOTHING. Its apparent that you live in your own little world that is oblivious to anything going on outside of your yard. Do you even read any other newspapers besides the local papers? Also, just because you have a weapon does not ensure that you know how to use it. Many homeowners are killed or injured because they dont even know how to use a weapon. Besides, if its not on your nighttable or under your pillow, how much time will you have to reach, load and fire?? Anyway, its again obvious to me that you are a single minded, conservative from Ohio that's really living on another planet and in another time.
I hope all Campbellites and Boardmanites wake up soon. Its not about shooting teenagers, its about helping them become responsible citizens. The "gang" problem with youth is out of hand in larger cities. In the larger cities, the gang members are also armed and not afraid to kill or die. They come into the home invasion with guns blazing. You small town folks have not experienced that type of behavior and I hope you dont kill one of these "teens" so the next time they will be armed as well. Detroit is not a "large" market. Try going to New York or Los Angeles and speak to some of the people there about crime. We need jobs and optional things for teens to do. The unemployment rate in the Y-Town, Campbell, Boardman is what-30%? Soon, it will be more than just teens that you will have to worry about. Open your minds, if you are not the solution, you are part of the problem
All of you so called conservatives should wake up. Do you know if these children even have parents to teach/train them. Their parents could be drug addicts or missing completely from the home. You small time yokels do not know any thing about the real world outside or your little farm communities. There are thousands of children in large cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, etc, that are raising themselves. There should be programs to help these kids. You should be happy that the kids were just buglarizing and not home invasion like we have in larger cities. Some of you stated that you would just kill the children. Where do you live-Brazil??
