I know Lt. Marsco well, and she is an excellent police officer. The promotion is long overdue, imo. (I worked with her, so I know!)

Congratulations to Dr. Bowers for all that she has accomplished! She is a truly brilliant scholar, as well as an authentic "Southern Gentlewoman".
YSU was very fortunate to have had her on faculty, and I believe that she will continue to contribute to society for a long time to come!

I hope their levy passes. That said, it is fairly common knowledge that the residents don't take kindly to outsiders with criminal intent. They typically handle such matters themselves...which frees up the police to generate revenue :)
