Two incumbent trustees voted out in Boardman

Apollo, curious as to where you got $85,000 for average police officer. When I added the wages (including overtime) for patrolmen to Chief (amounts where taken from info on your website) and divided by the number of officers, I got an average of $77,904.25. With a difference of $7095.75 multiplied by 50 officers equaling $354,787.50 (I think you over exaggerated. I did a little more figuring and found that the average patrolman makes $68,146.75 a total of 34 people, the average sergeant makes $86,696.69 a total of 11 people and the 4 lieutenants make an average of $102,525.57. I am also curious if you have the information as to how much money the police department got in grant money to do speed and DUI enforcement and/or any other special enforcements that I'm sure accounted for a majority of the overtime along with the loss of 5 men in 2008 (which a couple worked a few weeks in 2008 that I didn't average in, didn't want to through off year average). Some of the other OT I'm guessing was caused by the other 5-6 guys that were lost in previous years though retirement or left for greener pastures that were never replaced.
