Yes, I can understand the frustration and not that I'm in any position to know all the exact details and facts but here's just a little something else to think about. FYI: Maybe he never meant to intentionally steal from anyone. No, things obviously weren't handled as they should have been and people have suffered because of it. However, business was bad, sales were down and things very easily could have got behind very quickly.. I'd say thats a pretty logical explanation (not excuse) given the obvious current economic status and the toll it's taken on many businesses. Not to mention how convenient it must have been for his brother to cower and take a plea bargain to save himself, when from what I've heard, a personal problem of HIS could have played a role in the whole ordeal. Also, restitution well over $100,000.00 over the past couple years has been made to the state, so you should probably take your issues up with them on that. And I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I'm pretty sure he wouldn't still be living anywhere near youngstown, ohio if he had "run off with everyone's money." Now let's weigh some of the pros and cons of his punishment considering realistically he's not a hardened criminal, murderer, kidnapper, rapist or pedophile ... Jail: He gets locked up and lives on the taxpayers' dime, doesn't make any money, doesn't pay anything and ends up getting released early because of overcrowding. Probation: He continues to work and pay off the remainder of his debt to you and others.. THINK ABOUT IT.
