RG Steel closure to idle 1,000

These repuglicans despise Obama so much (mainly because he's black) that they will never give him credit for anything. If he cured cancer they would blame him for overpopulating the world. Their party has been such a disaster that if you watch their commercials you'll see they learned well from Rove. His plan is simple, once you tell a lie, or spread misinformation, keep it up. It worked for junior now they are hoping it works again

Will casino gambling be a benefit or detriment to Ohio’s overall economy?

The same senior citizens who crowd these casinos and dump their social security and retirement into these machines do something else. They show up at every public meeting about levies and taxes and do the same thing. They leap to their feet and proclaim IM ON A FIXED INCOME. They then walk out in their mountaineer slots player tshirts, jump into their crown Vic's and head back to the casinos. Just wait in no time they will be demanding a increase in social security payments.

Workers for Youngstown face more oversight

Alot of city officials shouldnt even have a take home car. Even the head of parks & rec had a take home car. Heaven forbid a swing breaks at night. And cell phones should be for city use only. Years ago I pulled behind a car with city plates at night on Midlothian Blvd. It had a swing set in the trunk and the old street dept. head (I dont remember his name) behind the wheel. Theres alot of fat the city could cut out with ease. But one thing is if workers are pressured to take pay cuts and freezes so should ALL city officials.

Fair or foul? Schools turn to athletes for revenue

why dont these school districts put as much energy fighting the state for proper funding as they do cutting. And you have to be a complete idiot to truly think that teachers salaries are the main reason for the financial problems. People have gotten to the point where they are completly blind to the true cause of our problems.

Parking wars loom at YSU

Ya know, I just thought of something. Why doesnt YSU take the TWO MILLION DOLLARS they are spending on the Wick Pollock Inn and put that in their general fund. I mean that is a lot of money to fix up an old building for the dean to live in. Why doesnt the Dean give something for the good of the University. She has a home now, why are tax dollars being used to provide her with something she already has?

High fees will drive students away

If Anderson had fought Kasich over the unneeded cuts in funding to YSU these problems wouldn't be here. She is no more pro student then the man in the moon. She doesn't pay for parking, housing, medical insurance or anything else that the common person has to pay for.

Parking wars loom at YSU

Anderson is such a false prophet. She constantly holds herself up as pro-student and pro-labor. But at every turn she has done nothing but harm. The sooner gone the better
