Struthers woman sobs through plea hearing

Doherty, you are a disgrace!! To commend two agencies that knew of the abuse and did nothing shows how little you care about this child. Being a typical city employee and failure of a lawyer you probably just wanted out of work early. S accept the plea deal, sign the papers and off you go to yoga. This poor child was raped, tortured and beaten to death. And his mother knew, Struthers P.D knew and CPS knew and all did nothing. Doherty I only hope you don't have children. Because if you think these actions were just, I can only imagine what your kids live like. SHAME ON YOU RESIGN!!!!!!!!

Struthers woman enters guilty pleas in son's abuse

10 years for standing by while someone tortures, rapes and beats your son to death!!!! Are you kidding me? This P.O.S. should get life! Now the Struthers failure of a cop who failed in his investigation needs fired and pension benefits stripped. Also the same must be done to the CPS worker who knew and did nothing. Terminate and strip all pension benefits of both. If this was a puppy and not a child people would be jumping up and down and screaming. But to them it's just a kid. No signs, no petitions, no calls to their congressman, nothing.

Dann’s troubles behind him — finally

Flick, with the mention of Sherlock you jostled my memory. Leo has a cousin named Marcus who has a problem of sticky fingers. Because of this he couldn't find a job. Leo got Vickie to give Marcus a job at a county agency handling disabled clients finances. He promptly looted their accounts immediately. When tried and convicted, in open court when told to pay the money back he refused. Yet idiot candidates line up to hire this guy for their campaigns. Next election if you find out a candidate has Leo working for them you know their values.

Dann’s troubles behind him — finally

A lot of your success or lack thereof comes down to who you surround yourself with. I remember being at a kickoff meeting for a local candidate and the subject of Dann came up. We all agreed he was a good candidate for the job. Then someone mentioned Leo was running his campaign, and someone stated that Dann would never finish his term without getting into trouble. Leo is simply someone like say Colucci who when your around them you later feel the need for a bath. These are people who lack moral, manners any sense of civility. But Dann knew this coming in.

UPDATE | Mooney under investigation by OHSAA; coach resigns amid probe

Those of us who really know local sports aren't surprised. Mooney has been cheating for years by trolling all the pee wee and younger leagues. Just last week when I complained about a local school getting bounced three years Ina row by other cheating recruiting private schools people defended this type of,cheating. Ones moral compass really has to be screwed up to constantly defend these actions. But remember these are the adults that supplied booze and tobacco to kids then got Foley to shame his name and reputation by squashing the investigation. These kids from these families must really, grow up screwed up. They should change their name to Honey Boo Boo High.

YSU trustees OK tuition hike, revert to old hiring policies

The tuition increases are caused by Kasich further cutting of funding (with my tax dollars) to public education. Garg stated this himself so apply the blame where it should be. Kasich before he began to position for a run at reelection stated arrogantly he doesn't support public education. But, come on sheeple say something!!!!! Stand up for yourselves, make a sign, raise your voice this is your future! As it stands now, you don't even need a judas goat to be led to the slaughter! Your walking there with both eyes open willingly.

Boardman moving forward with main fire station project

First, imminent domain in this case would be an abuse of that property owner. Pay them the just appraised value of that property. Rarely under this practice does the land owner get a fair shake. And 2fer1 you are dead on helping out a friend with property they can't unload. The property that the Covelli Center sits on was purchased from a friend of Traficant for far above the appraised value. The first choice should be on property already owned by the township. Put the savings into the property itself.

AG poised to shut down sweepstakes parlors

Shut all this gambling down, without social security and other governments benefits it wouldn't exist. People complain about people on welfare having cellphones and tatoos and jewelry. But no one says a word about people blowing their social security and disability checks on gambling. It's the same money!
