I grew up on the West Side-Salt Springs Road. I had decent life growing up there seems like 70 years ago we all got along- I have a answer to the drug problem--have all the drugs that are consficated laced with poison and put back out on the streets with a open warning to all-- that if you use drugs you will die--i>m sure that after a time all this will take care of itself..do this in every city in the country it would take care of all the cartels and all the probs. that go along with drugs....Death row across the U.S.--- take the inmates -put them on a Island with a knife --let them all go at it--when the last ones standing----Shoot him or her---they weren" found guilty for nothing--
so you think drs are overpaid ??????? when you or your kids need a brain operation ---who do you go to???--your plumber--@@sholes!!!!!pay their 300-400 K educations bill plus insurances and all else that goes with them being physicians-then you get a vote on whether they charge too much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, well, well-looks like all the voters finally got smart-took all the crap levied at them - put it in a brown paper bag and set it at the doors of the administrators and local boards. as far as teachers having the most satisfying jobs--i guess!!!!! where else can you work for a total of 6 months and get paid for 12 ...hell of a deal!!!!!!!!!!!
why is it- no matter what the topic,you residents bring up the( republicans vs the demos)...Don't you think if there was a profit to be made that united, american ,alaska, delta, airlines would service the area????? Jeezeeeeeeeeee.3000 people waiting to fly out of YNG. to go on vacation!!!! Did we recieve another stimilus check-guess i missed that one!!!!!!!
2 times a year i visit from ca.--wedgewood combination pizza is a must--I eat 5-6 in a 3 wk period -no i.m not fat -love that pizza with a dark ale..thanks wedgewood!!!!
I hesitate to get involved with the problems of my "hometown" but feel I should since all my friends still live in young...we have 7 casinos here in norther ca. all within a 100 radius--to much?? maybe ,but i think not ..all are indian casinos-all have helped the San Joaquine Valley with schools roadways, and most importantly with Jobs--S.J. Valley has a 25 % unemployment rate the Casinos pay ranges from 12-15 $ a hour plus full benefits-employing about 25000 people in one way or another.They are and important part of the community..According to what they say, the Casinos wouldn,t cost the residents of Youngstown anything..why not give them a chance..if they go bust you wouldnt be any worse off..keep (religion),and prejudice out the Casino business and you might have something going--by the way I,m 69 yrs old and I do-not Gamble--a (choice I make),as all should---just the way I see it-my opinion doesn,t mean its right!!!!!!
