I wondered how long it would take to get someone up on a soapbox! On TV I heard it said that Dr Kennedy makes a whopping $59K and is on salary! How much does "King George" make annually? He doesn't even have a doctorate! Everyone knew this was coming, it was in the "Vindy" last week! The only thing is, they didn't think it would hit so hard, so fast! Go ahead! Vote another levy down see what happens next! After all, you'll really miss that half penny!
What happened to the tax that was passed to keep ALL POLICE and FIREMAN? Or, is that ANOTHER REDIRECT of city funds? Earmarked for one thing, redirected to someone's pet project!
To all of the "concerned citizens" of Mahoning County that voted no, the next time you call for help, the next time you need an emergency crew to your house, or the next time a call to a rural fire department needs answered; remember it was YOUR NO VOTE that caused the delay! Thank yourself for this wondrous deed!
