To samiam: You're wrong when it comes to people w/ felonies being UNARMED. Chances are that if you are a felon, you got your gun off the streets. Also, we run the risk of crime rates increasing because these FELONS have a very hard time securing gainful employment. 3/4 of companies in the United States just don't want to take a chance on hiring a convicted felon. What are the felons to do? Chances are, they resort to illegal activity to get by. It's a vicious circle. A catch-22, if you will.

So as in the days of Noah, so shall the coming of The Son of Man be. Straight, Gay, Bi-sexual, Try-sexual, whatever...we ALL SIN. Being gay is no more of a sin than lying or using God's name in vain. God's judgement is upon us ALL. SIN is SIN is SIN. We ALL fall short of the glory of God!!! Jesus sees our heart. What does this weekend holiday mean TO YOU? If a person is truly a Christian, they understand what Jesus did for us SINNERS and really should NOT JUDGE.

The ONLY reason that I can figure as to why these types of crimes continue to plague us is drugs...PERIOD! I've never heard of a crime of this magnitude being commited because the criminal needed money to keep his electricity from being shut off???
