Lanacek Sounds like sour grapes to me concerning the yfd. How come they wouldn't hire you, cause you seem to know a awful lot about their fire dept. From what I see on the news every morning I turn the TV on their fire dept seems to be fighting another fire. If I lived there, I'd want as many fireman as you can have cause it sure seems like they got a lot of work in the city. You seem to have quite a large boner for these guys!! Now, turn your pager back on and hope you can get a fire in your little burb town.

so.......... If you work for a company that's makes things, and you get a huge order for something, and instead of hiring more workers for the increased work load, what would you say, as a worker, union or not, if they brought prisoners in to fill the orders instead? It will save money. It would be more efficient. It would be only until the orders were filled................ Yea, ok! Union or not, public or private, this sets a bad tone for future workforce environments. Again, Like I've always said, you think its all good? Wait till it affects YOU !!!!! As you out there who are gainfully employed wherever, ask yourself if its ok to bring in free labor where you work, and have a clear conscious when you truthfully answer yourself.

by the way tool, Youngstown gets more fires that the entire county combined, if you must mention the entire county. Look at the stats if you don't believe, or get someone who is educated to look for you! Do you even live in the city, or are you like the other burb brats throwing stones at moving vehicles then running? LOL

Ok, time over, crawl back into your hole now!!

this guy has been a jack ass since taking office in 2011. You think his tax elimination will work? Same people who love his "plan" will be the SAME ones yipping when monies are shifted, or services are cut.

Corporate America 2014: Company does not want their plant to continue to operate in a given location (Warren). They warn the unions that due to increased cost, if a concession package is not constructed, and accepted, the plant will close.(GE)They put a package together that will pit old union members against their young, knowing full well that the vote will not pass (IUE), and will blame membership greed for the plants downfall. They also knew that even if it passed, they would have not kept many of the union brother/sisters who passed the concession package in the first place. It was a fool proof plan to close a plant that did not fit into modern day operations, by making it appear that union greed shut down operations by cutting their own throats while in reality, they were going to close it anyways all at the same time looking like they really cared about their work force in crapy little Warren, Ohio. Well done corporate GE! Welcome to 2014.
