You can disagree with a writer's opinion, but that doesn't make a writer unethical. That is not a word to throw around haphazardly.
Kevin Connelly's column is just that ... an opinion piece. Any reader is welcome to agree or disagree with Kevin's column or even the other column mentioned in some of the comments.
Please recognize that a column is an opinion and just the fact that you might not agree with the writer's viewpoint does not mean the writer did anything wrong.

Cardinal Mooney has won eight state titles and Benedictine has won six. How dare anyone say these are two of the best Catholic football programs in Ohio? The nerve!
Come on. They're not just two of the best Catholic programs. They're two of the best, period. Numbers don't lie.
And just for the record, my research indicates Colerain is a public school. But why let facts get in the way of an unfounded rant?

Just for the record, OSU played FAMU because Vanderbilt (of the vaunted SEC) backed out of a contract to play the Buckeyes. ... OSU can't do much about its Big Ten schedule, except play the hand it is dealt.

I'm not sure where Joe suggested UNI should be taken lightly. This was not a column. It was a preview and Joe simply outlined some facts about the Panthers' season and current injury issues.
In fact, he wrote this:
But while the fans can look ahead, the Penguins can’t. YSU hasn’t won at the UNI-Dome since 1999 — it was Jim Tressel’s last trip to Cedar Falls — and is still a win away from clinching a playoff berth.
And then ended the story with his quote:
“We’re treating this game and this opponent with as much respect as our last one,” senior LT Kyle Bryant said. “We’re taking nothing for granted.”

Soccer teams from Boardman, Howland and Lakeview also made the front page. The Struthers football team was featured on the cover of the Blitz and in the centerspread.
