Fall campaign for governor will be a hard-hitting affair

I rest comfortable knowing that this election in Ohio all people will get only 1 vote. There is no way Fitzgerald can beat Kasich in a fair elelction. He has just been too good of a Governor.

Climate change is not a fact

Global warming is a completely phony crisis made up by a scientists who have formed a cottage industry and have made good careers predicting that the globe is warming to their own benefit. The problem is that the GLOBE IS NOT WARMING, it is cooling.

Youngstown ranks No. 5 for raising a family

The only problem with Youngstown is that they just do not have enough prison space to house all of the criminals and they refuse to build new prisons.

FitzGerald spends little on primary against ex-inmate, focuses on fall race

Despite what all the left wing extremists say, Kasich has completely turned this state around and finally has us headed in the right directiion. I hope the voters of Ohio don't listen to those who have dreamed up phony scandals and warmed over George Soros rhetoric.

It’s time to reflect on the reason so many homes are demolished

Anthony,
I find it very interesting that folks somehow rationalize all this and blame the big bad banks (similar to the big bad oil companies) for the foreclosure mess when the banks were being forced into making loans to low income people to buy houses. The thought process is that if low income people are behaving in an illegal and socially inacceptable way, then if we just get them into their own home everything will be OK. This type of social engineering was and always will be a dismal failure. Similiarly, the decades long War on Poverty has been and will continue to be a dismal failure that has cost trillions of dollars.
If we want to correct socially unacceptable behavior, then we simply have to establish laws and throw the violators of those laws into prison. Similiarly, if we want to end poverty, we simple have to send the message to the folks, that if you want certain material possessions, then you have to get out of bed and go get a job and earn money for those material possessions.
Before any of you left wing extremists even think about playing the race card, I think there are way way more non minorities that received low interest home loans than minorities.

And our message board was bad?

"the simple fact remains that you say that the decline of the United States began with women being given the right to vote."

I never said anything of the kind. In fact, my dream ticket would be Dr. Ben Carson and Condoleeza Rice. Do you have a problem with a female minority as VPOTUS?

Kasich has been a great Governor who certainly deserves 4 more years at the helm. He has balanced the budget while reducing taxes, improved job creation dramatically. Fitzgerald wants to return to the failed policies of the past, while Ohio needs to keep moving forward.

GOP attacks Obamacare at summit

This is nothing more than another program to give away money to freeloaders who refuse to work. When th Republicans take over the Senate, we will finally get Harry Reid out of the way and pass a repeal vote for this monstrosity. I know the Liar will veto it, but then we can begin an override vote and make all those Dumbocrats go on the record as supporting something that the folks don't want or need.
