In Response to your statement. The Drs that have helped me in the past where some of the best in the world. One being John D Desprez MD who did most of the work until I was 19. When he became very sick he had to retire. Dr Desprez was know around the world for his work with NF. I spoke with an Intern from the University Hospitals and they told me his name is still spoken of after 20 yrs retiring from the hospital for is work.
Dr Desprez is the one who told me as long as I didnt merry someone who has the defected gene. I would have no worries.
Now if I did merry someone wth the defected gene then there would be a 50 % chance that child would have the development of tumors.
Lastly about having children one of greatest forms love one can give child is adoption.
