Pool owners face varying zoning regulations

I think any pool, even the "pop" up pools that get put up at the beginning of summer, and taken down at the end should have fences. I believe that kiddie pools should only be filled when someone is outside to watch them. The thing I do not get is why people outside of Youngstow, but inside Mahoning county need, to get a 25 dollar permit! If their area does not have zoninng or a need for permits, youngstown decides to charge and profit?!?!

Youngstown fire truck wrecked, 3 injured this morning

I must comment here. First off my dad drove a truck for many years. The guys who drive the trucks are trained, tested and know how to drive them. I must say the driver was damned if he did and damned if he didn't. He tried to miss the driver of a car who did not yeild to the truck, and they got into an accident. Now if he would not have avoided the car, who knows what would have happened to the driver of the car. He may not even be here. If he was hit by the truck and survived, I am sure he would be going after the city for damages. As for the tax payers having to pay for a new truck, that is what insurance and tax payers money is for! (They try to save money for when they need to buy a truck or new equipment.)What do you expect the firefighter to pay for it? Remember that firefighters, no matter where they live, pay the city taxes!!! Oh and for all of you making negative comments i want to you see you go out there and do the job, go into a fire, save a life, or find people who never made it out. It takes someone special to do the job, so back off!!!

Wedding reception goes wild in Girard

LOL: You can assume all you want. I hope you know what that makes you! And by the way NOONE deserve to get the crap beat out of them like that at all! Not over words! Last time I looked word didn't hurt, but bruises the ego!! That was the whole problem here, someone's ego was hurt, and he just had to prove himself!!! And of course all his friend had to jump in instead of talking some sense into him! Maybe there should not have been drinking at the wedding!!!

LOL: you are an example of what is wrong with society! Noone deserves to beat like that for the reasons stated. As for the cop thing. You said they got call to a large fight, my point was people are claiming there was only 1 punch thrown. As for the bartender, he was asked by the MANAGER/OWNER to help contain the problem til cops arrived. He was only doing what his boss was asking!
I agree with steelerman, anyone who fights like this at their own wedding,or anyone's wedding is trashy!!!!

Wedding reception goes wild in Girard

WTH: There is no way he was hit once and ended up with all that damage, unless the guy was a black belt, boxer, or kickboxer. And from what I understand the owner/manager asked the employee to help him keep everything under control til the cops got there. Not that he followed him to egg him on. I think that people are making excuses for the groom, so he can have a reason why he did what he did. So I can't believe what you people are saying! And if it was only one punch, why were so many cops sent? That just doesn't add up! By the way where you there WTH? Cause if you were, of course you would be on the side of the groom and bride!!!

All I can say is if the bartender said that, which this is hearsay, why did the groom not go to the manager or owner? There are better ways of solving problems then fists. I personally think friends or family members of the groom and bride are starting rumors here on the thread to make it seem they had the right to beat the crap out the guy. I call BS!!!!!!!! The bartender should NOT have been beaten like he was, period!!!! Grow up and deal with problem like adults!!!!!

All I have to say, is beating the crap out of someone to the point they need several surgries it NOT needed! Maybe the groom should not have drank! When I found out the about the situation my heart when out to the employee. He was doing what his boss asked him to do. First thought in my mind was, what the heck was the groom on to ruin his own wedding. If a person can not handle drinking, why do it on a special occassion? Noone has even said why the groom was out in the parking lot causing damage! What made him so mad on one of the most important nights of his life? To all of you post ing on the groom/bride's side, and the employee's side: None of you are going to be completely truthful! You all want your person(s) to come out lily white. I am sure there were mistakes on both sides. But there was NO need for someone to be beaten that badly!!!
