It is so sad that the bishop believes himself to be an absolute authority - accountable to no one - not even the victims of his own hierarchical/institutional clerics. He should go to them, not the other way around. I have heard of a few bishops who actually do that - go to the victim. It is remarkably healing. Too bad this bishop is too arrogant to know when he is in the wrong.
